Ramadhan Atmosphere Amidst The New Normal

The month which most awaited by Muslims has arrived, what else if not the Ramadhan month. Ramadhan is a holy month for Muslims. In that month Muslims are required to fast from sunrise to sunset. In that month the Muslims became increasingly active in their worship. Many people say that there is a month of Ramadhan; ah, the month is full of blessings, why? Blessings in the month of Ramadhan are not only about multiple rewards and the elimination of sins but are in the form of material blessings where there will be many sellers selling their wares ranging from clothing, food and drinks. One of the most frequently encountered since the first day of Ramadhan is the Ramadhan Market where many sellers sell food and drinks that are used for break the fast.

In Ramadhan month there is a habit of Indonesian people where they will hunt for food to break the fast. Indonesian people usually refer to food or drink for break the fast as ‘takjil’. This Ramadhan bazaar is also used as a time killer because by coming to Ramadhan bazaar, people who are fasting feel a little distracted from hunger and thirst. With this custom, it's no wonder that many Ramadhan bazaar are held. One of the Ramadhan bazzar is the one held in the Bojonegoro City area. This Ramadhan bazaar was held in one of the areas in Bojonegoro, namely Malo District, precisely located along the Malo Bridge road. This Ramdhan Bazzar is usually open from 3 p.m until 11 p.m. This bazaar will be held for one full month. Many sellers peddle their wares at this Ramdhan bazaar. Various kinds of snacks and food were sold at the Ramadhan Bazaar such as ayam geprek, martabak, various wet cakes, various fried foods such as tempe, tofu, spring rolls, risoles and heavy foods such as satay, ranging from chicken satay. and goats. Not only food, the drinks sold are also very varied.

The Ramadhan bazaar is different from last year when the pandemic just hit the whole world. Many people are very afraid to contact other people so that the Ramadhan bazaar cannot be maximized, it can be seen that the lack of buyers makes sellers hesitate to trade in the last year, whereas this year when the conditions have started to return to normal, people have been carrying out their activities as usual, therefore the bazaar Ramadan this year is busier than the last year therefore the buyer and seller have to adhere to health protocols. Buyers and sellers use masks when making transactions but not all sellers and buyers use their masks, it's a shame because they don't adhere to existing of health protocols, The community is busy buying takjil, ranging from mothers, children, adolescents to the elderly. It can be seen from the following picture.

Ramadan is a month that has been looked forward to as well as being privileged. Hopefully the current pandemic will end soon so that Ramadan can run as usual and the Ramadan bazaar activities can run normally without a shadow of fear.
